Notice of Approved Water Rate Case

Dear customers and members of B&B Water Project, Inc.,

This notice is to provide an update regarding the proposed water rate increase that was communicated to customers in April 2025.

The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) has approved a 9.19% rate increase as of January 21, 2026. As a result, the approved water rates will go into effect immediately, and customers will see the updated rates reflected on their next billing cycle.

As outlined in the April 2025 notice, the approved increase supports rising operating costs and necessary investments in system maintenance, repairs, and infrastructure improvements to ensure continued safe and reliable water service. The rate adjustment was reviewed and approved through the IURC’s regulatory process.

Attached to this notice is the approved water rate schedule showing the new rates by meter size and usage levels. These rates replace the previous rate schedule and will be applied beginning with the next billing period. We understand that rate changes can be impactful, and the Board of Directors remains committed to responsible financial management, system reliability, and transparency with our customers
